PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a top emission type organic electroluminescent element, capable of suppressing the generation of dark spots.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a top emission type organic electroluminescent element of the present invention includes a step of forming an organic electroluminescent layer having a reflective electrode, an organic layer and a transparent electrode on a substrate, in the order. The reflective electrode is formed by vapor depositing a vapor deposition material comprising at least one of pure aluminum or an aluminum alloy at a deposition rate of 200Å/s or more, on the substrate. |
