PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synthesize a connection description of a memory automatically so that a plurality of functional modules can share the memory even if they use a memory of a different memory configuration.SOLUTION: The apparatus analyzes a description of a processing operation, and creates a list of information on a memory configuration of a memory used by all functional modules (S1, S2). The apparatus recognizes a functional module which operates exclusively, and calculates the capacity of each memory configuration (S3). The apparatus searches for mapping of a combination of sharable memory configurations for each of the exclusively operating functional modules (S4-S11). The apparatus modifies and alters the memory description on the basis of a search result (S12). |
