PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of analyzing an Al plating liquid which allows appropriated analysis of the composition change of the Al plating liquid containing AlCland an alkylimidazolium chloride as the plating progresses.SOLUTION: A method of analyzing an aluminum plating liquid containing an ion liquid consisting of a mixture of aluminum chloride and an alkylimidazolium chloride includes a step of preparing a plurality of reference ion liquids having different mixing ratios of aluminum chloride and the alkylimidazolium chloride in the mixture, a step of measuring NMR of the individual reference ion liquids withAl as the measurement nuclide, a step of determining half-widths of peaks measured for the individual ion liquids and containing a spectrum originated from AlCl, a step of calculating theoretical concentration values of AlClfor each reference ion liquid on the basis of the mixing ratio and a step of creating a calibration curve on the basis of the half-widths and the theoretical concentration values.
