PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a structure which can stably absorb striking energy at a secondary collision.SOLUTION: A steering column is supported by engaging an engaging cut 20a formed in a support bracket 38 with an engaging groove 22a of an engaging capsule 21a supported by and fixed to a vehicle body 15, thereby enabling forward displacement by impact load at a secondary collision. An opening end of the engaging cut 20a is positioned in front of a rear end of the engaging groove 22a. |
