PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To peel unnecessary parts of a protective film and a masking tape reliably.SOLUTION: Long laminate piezoelectric members are attached to a substrate formed, on a side surface, with a first stepped cut surface lower than the upper surface, with the laminate piezoelectric members adhered together in such a way that their polarization directions oppose mutually. A pressure chamber composed of a plurality of grooves is formed in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction from the upper surface of the piezoelectric member, and an electrode is arranged in the pressure chamber. A wiring pattern serving as a packaging part for connecting the electrode to a circuit driving the piezoelectric member is formed on the substrate. A frame member surrounding the piezoelectric member, retaining an ink inside and formed, on the outside surface, with a second stepped cut surface lower than the upper surface is attached onto the substrate. With a masking tape adhered onto the packaging part, the pressure chamber and the substrate are coated downward with an insulating protective film. A nozzle plate formed with a nozzle discharging an ink is attached to the frame member. The protective film on the first and second cut surfaces is cut to remove parts of the protective film unnecessary in peeling the masking tape. |
