PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase of load of a processor and delay in drive control while taking measures for noise.SOLUTION: An engine control unit has a processor, a driving circuit including a switching element for driving loads such as a fuel injection valve and an ignition device, and a communication circuit for transmitting a control signal from the processor to the driving circuit by serial communication. Here, the control signal includes a command frame for controlling the driving circuit, and a data frame for driving the loads. The engine control unit changes an operating state of the switching element by changing a drive signal Drive for driving the loads when the same prescribed bits of the data frame are continuously received twice from the processor by every prescribed time. |
