PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure correctly and in a short time the internal impedance of a battery that has large DC electromotive force.SOLUTION: An impedance measuring device comprises a processing unit 7 that calculates the total value of the internal impedance Z of batteries B, in which an L number (L is an even number equal to or smaller than N) of batteries B are connected in series so that the number of normal polarities and the number of reverse polarities are the same, the L number of batteries B including at least one battery B whose internal impedance is known and at least one battery B whose impedance is unknown, among the N number (N is a natural number greater than M) of batteries including an M number (M is a natural number) of batteries B whose internal impedance Z is known. The processing unit 7 calculates the total values of (N-M) pairs in which the L number of batteries B are differently combined. The processing unit 7 indicates the relation between the calculated total value and the internal impedance Z of each of the L number of batteries in the corresponding pair of batteries B. The processing unit calculates the internal impedance Z of the (N-M) number of batteries B whose internal impedance Z is unknown based on an (N-M) number of relational expressions including the known impedance Z. |
