PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing which can perform the creep prevention of an outer ring attached to a housing and positioning in the axial direction by a simple and small-sized constitution.SOLUTION: A rolling bearing 1 comprises an outer ring 2 fit to a housing 9, and a snap ring 6 for regulating the movement of the outer ring 2 in the axial direction and the circumferential direction with respect to the housing 9. A first circumferential groove 21 recessed in the radial direction is formed at the external peripheral face of the outer ring 2; a second peripheral groove 91 recessed in the radial direction and coincident with the first peripheral groove 21 in the axial direction, and a recess 92 recessed in the axial direction from a part of the circumferential direction of the second peripheral groove 91 are formed at the internal peripheral face of the housing 9; a main body 61 of the snap ring 6 is formed into a C-ring shape so as to be elastically contractible or expansible; the main body has a protrusion 62 extending in the axial direction from a part of the circumferential direction of the main body 61; the main body 61 is locked to the first peripheral groove 21 and the second peripheral groove 91; and the protrusion 62 is locked to the recess 92. |
