PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set a correlation color temperature of light radiated from a light emitting device to a desired correlation color temperature.SOLUTION: A light emitting unit 23 (a light emitting device) includes a light source 31 and a cover part. The cover part includes a transparent cover 45 and a phosphor resin 41 (a resin). The transparent cover 45 is formed by a transparent material and covers the light source 31. Multiple protruding parts 56 are provided at the inner side of the transparent cover 45. The phosphor resin 41 includes a phosphor. The phosphor resin 41 is provided at an area which is located at the inner side of the transparent cover 45 and around the multiple protruding parts 56.
