The present invention relates to a method for screening a therapeutic agent for treating insulin-related diseases and a method for testing the efficacy of an existing therapeutic agent by monitoring phosphorylation of myosin II regulatory light chain (MRLC) and KATP channel tracfficking in pancreatic beta cells and, more particularly, to a screening method which determines a therapeutic agent for treating insulin-related diseases according to KATP channel trafficking and MRLC phosphorylation caused by reduction of blood glucose by treating pancreatic beta cells with a candidate material for treating insulin-related diseases; and a method for testing the efficacy of a therapeutic agent according to the increase of KATP channel trafficking and MRLC phosphorylation caused by reduction of blood glucose in pancreatic beta cells through treatment with the therapeutic agent for treating insulin-related diseases. |
