PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a conventional vehicular headlight cannot produce a good light distribution pattern.SOLUTION: A vehicular headlight includes a semiconductor type light source 2, a reflector 3, a shade member 4, and a heat sink member 5. A reflecting surface 30 of the reflector 3 is formed with vapor deposition. At the edge of the reflecting surface 30 on the side of an emission surface 25 of the semiconductor type light source 2, a vapor deposition reservoir part 33 is formed during the vapor deposition. On the heat sink member 5, a first shade part 41 is provided for shielding light L2 entering into at least the vapor deposition reservoir part 33, out of light from the emission surface 25 of the semiconductor type light source 2. The vehicular headlight can produce a good low-beam light distribution pattern LP. |
