PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor for reducing a vibration of a casing and suppressing a noise.SOLUTION: Provided is a casing and a stator 51. The casing includes a cylindrical pipe 21. The stator 51 is fixed by shrink fitting on an inner peripheral surface of the pipe 21 with a cutout 56 being formed on an outer peripheral edge. The stator 51 is formed by laminating a plurality of magnetic steel sheets 53. The stator 51 has an outer peripheral edge whose cross sectional shape before the cutout 56 is formed is a protruded simple close curve that is different from a circle. Moreover, the stator 51 is in contact with an inner peripheral surface of the pipe 21 at a multiple portions of the outer peripheral edge while being fixed to the pipe 21. |
