PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element capable of restricting the size of a non-light emitting part formed in a periphery of the organic EL element.SOLUTION: The organic EL element includes: a first electrode extraction part 108 which is conductive with a transparent electrode 102; and first wiring 106 for supplying the power to the transparent electrode 102. An organic layer 103 and a reflecting electrode 104 are formed with a first wiring hole 110 penetrating therethrough in a thickness direction. The first electrode extraction part 108 is exposed on a holding substrate 101 via the first wiring hole 110. The first wiring 106 is connected to a first electrode extraction part 108 from a sealing layer 105 side or a holding substrate 101 side. |
