STEAM TRAP HAVING A GOOD ENERGY EFFICIENCY

The present invention relates to a steam trap used for a heat exchanger or the likes and, more specifically, to a highly energy-efficient steam trap capable of discharging only condensate water and not steam. The present invention relates to a steam trap having a duct prepared to allow the condensate water to flow in through an inlet and to discharge the condensate water through an outlet, and a disk installed on top of the duct to open and close the duct. A nozzle having multiple micro-holes is formed on the duct or the inlet. The present invention comprising the above components is capable of selectively discharging only the condensate water, thus reducing the leakage of steam discharged together with the condensate water and drastically enhancing the thermal efficiency thereby.
