PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel compound suitable for a host material or a delayed fluorescent material in an organic light-emitting device (OLED).SOLUTION: This invention relates to a compound that has an imidazole core represented by following formula I. In the formula I: G1 and G2 are each an electron donor group or an electron acceptor group; when G1 is the electron donor group, G2 is the electron acceptor group; when G1 is the electron acceptor group, G2 is the electron donor group; and the electron acceptor group is at least one chemical group selected from the group consisting of a six-membered aromatic ring system having at least two nitrogen atoms, and a five-membered aromatic ring system containing at least one nitrogen atom, at least one oxygen atom, at least one sulfur atom or at least one selenium atom. The electron acceptor group is optionally substituted. Rand Rare optionally joined to form a ring. |
