PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that enables prevention of a stage cut of a transparent conductive film inside a contact hall, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display panel comprises: a transparent insulative substrate; a signal line and a scanning line, that are wired in a display area on the transparent insulative substrate, and are mutually intersected to form a matrix shape; common wiring that is disposed so as to be parallel with the signal line or the scanning line; a protection insulator film that is disposed so as to cover above at least the signal line and the scanning line; a first insulator film that covers a surface of the protection insulator film; a bottom electrode and an upper electrode, that are arranged oppositely so as to have an upper/lower relation on the first insulator film; and a first contact hall that penetrates at least the first insulator film and the protection insulator film and reaches a surface of the common wiring. The first contact hall is covered by a first lamination film composed of a first transparent conductive film of the same material as that of a bottom of the first contact hall and an inner wall side surface thereof, and a second transparent conductive film of the same material as that of the upper electrode. |
