PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the assemblability of a drive device for electric power steering, by disposing electric components so that they can be assembled from the same direction.SOLUTION: A drive device 1 for electric power steering includes: an electric motor 2; a housing 13 attached to the electric motor 2; a sensor coil 15 of a torque sensor disposed in the housing 13; and a control unit 4 stored in the housing 13. The housing 13 of which a top surface side is opened has: a sensor coil storage part 21; a control unit storage part 22; a notch communication part 24 for making both the sensor coil storage part and the control unit storage part communicate with each other; and a terminal board arrangement part 23 on which a motor terminal board 34 is disposed. The control unit 4, the sensor coil 15, and the motor terminal board 34 are assembled in the housing 13 in this order from a direction of the opening of the housing 13, and electrically connected with each other. |
