PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user convenience while maintaining security in an information processing apparatus having a key lock function.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus 10 has an input section 12 and a control section 18 which controls transition between states. The control section 18 transits the information processing apparatus 10 to be in a first unlock state when the input section 12 detects a cancellation operation for a first key lock in a first key lock state and transits the information processing apparatus 10 to be in a second unlock state when the input section 12 detects a cancellation operation for a second key lock in a second key lock state, and transits the information processing apparatus 10 to be in the second unlock state when the input section 12 detects a predetermined operation in the first unlock state.
