<p>The device has a measurement unit comprising an induction type conductivity sensor (18) different from an electrode type conductivity sensor (16). The induction conductivity sensor measures electric conductivity of a mixture, which is function of free lime content of a clinker sample whose conductivity is already measured by the electrode conductivity sensor. A programmable logic controller (20) successively receives values of the conductivities provided by the sensors to provide a validation signal when difference between the values is lower than a preset value. An independent claim is also included for a method for measuring free lime content of a clinker sample.</p> |
