The device (10) has a male part (11) that is provided interdependent of a trim part i.e. roof bar (8), where the male part includes a beveled indexing pin (21), and a flexible leg (22) carrying a stop notch (27). A female part (12) is arranged interdependent of another trim part i.e. hub cap (6). The female part includes a hollow reserve (36) that is provided complementary to the indexing pin. A transverse side (37) is provided so as to come in play with the flexible leg by a click-and-ratchet work. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an automobile (2) a method for assembly of two trim parts.
