<p>The method comprises forming a preform by sintering a metal powder, assembling the preform on a part such as a blade of a turbomachine, repairing the used part, and forming a new part constituted of a substrate and the preform, which is assembled on the substrate. During assembling process, the preform is applied against a surface of the part and is subjected to a determined pressure. The preform and the part are traversed by a pulsated direct current. A feedstock composed of a mixture of a metal powder and a binder based on a polymer is injected in a mold. During assembling process, the preform is applied against a surface of the part and is subjected to a determined pressure. The preform and the part are traversed by a pulsated direct current. A feedstock composed of a mixture of a metal powder and a binder based on a polymer is injected in a mold. The assembling step is carried out by spark plasma sintering. The molded preform is subjected to a debinding process and to a heat treatment in a furnace. The debinding process is carried out using a nontoxic solvent such as water under controlled atmosphere such as hydrogenated argon atmosphere. The sintered preform is subjected to an isostatic compaction before assembling it on the part by diffusion bonding. The powder is directly compacted on the part, where the powder and the part are subjected to the pulsated direct current. A material of the preform is different from the substrate.</p> |
