The apparatus has detection element (12) that is provided inside of a jacket portion (11) of the component (10) and is projected into the pipe inner cross-section of the component engaging a portion of the flow. The detection element is cooperated with the receiving element (13), such that the foreign particles are flow detected from the detection element and are set to the recording element. Each detecting element is assigned with a receiving element in the flow direction (14) arranged upstream to the respective associated detector element.
