The system (100) has a flexible hydraulic line for transporting cleaning fluid (145) i.e. water. The hydraulic line is provided with an inlet end and an outlet end. A hydraulic connecting element is provided at the inlet end for connection with a terminal (125) of a fluid source (130). A closure element closes an opening of a cover (175) of a motor car when the hydraulic line runs through the opening so that inlet end and the outlet end lie on different sides of the cover. A holding element (195) fixes the terminal of the source relative to the cover. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a hydraulic line of a cleaning system.
