A tunnel type wind power generation system of the present invention is configured to include: a horizontal tunnel (110) that is formed through a mountain in the horizontal direction; a vertical tunnel (120) that is formed to communicate with the horizontal tunnel in the vertical direction and to communicate with the outside of the mountain; multiple wind power generation means (130) that are disposed at regular intervals along the horizontal tunnel and generate wind power using wind which is guided along the horizontal tunnel; wind discharge means (140) that is disposed in the upper portion of the vertical tunnel so as to discharge the wind outside via the horizontal tunnel and through the vertical tunnel; and flow path control means (150) that is disposed at a position of communication between the horizontal tunnel and the vertical tunnel so as to control the flow path of the wind. According to the present invention, a strong natural convection phenomenon is induced using the differences in temperature and/or atmospheric pressure between the vertical tunnel and the horizontal tunnel so that wind power can be generated throughout the year and 24 hours a day.
