<p>[Problem] To provide a field current measuring method whereby a field current can be accurately measured, and a control apparatus for an alternating current generator for vehicles, said control apparatus being capable of accurately controlling the alternating current generator for vehicles. [Solution] In this field current measuring method, an average value of a value of a field current at a start point of an on-state of a switching element connected to a field coil, and a value of the field current at the end point of the on-state of the switching element is calculated, and the average value thus calculated is specified as a measurement value of the field current.</p> |
