SYSTEM FOR STERILIZATION AND LOSS PREVENTION OF BOOKS AND METHOD THEREOF

Disclosed are a system for sterilizing and preventing loss of books and a method thereof which sterilize books by automatically setting a sterilization time by being transferred with the book information through a library program linked with an organization and prevent loss of books based on identifiers attached to the books. The disclosed system for sterilizing and preventing loss of books comprises: a control device which decodes the identifiers included in the books, obtains information of the books by being linked with a book management system through a network based on the identified decode information, and automatically sterilizes the books by operating a sterilization device after automatically setting up the sterilization time based on the obtained book information; and a display unit which visually displays the book information output from the control device.
