PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission capable of achieving high efficiency even against load fluctuations by one fixed transmission frequency.SOLUTION: The transmission system comprises: a transmission power source 1 that supplies electric power of a single frequency; a transmission/reception section 2 comprised of a transmission antenna 5 that radio-transmits electric power from the transmission power supply 1 and a reception antenna 6 that receives electric power from the transmission antenna 5; a reception power supply 3 that receives electric power received by the reception antenna 6; and a resonance coupling impedance adjustment section 4 that detects a voltage and/or current of the transmission antenna 5 and adjusts a resonance coupling impedance of the transmission/reception section 2 on the basis of a waveform of the detected voltage and/or current.
