PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield connector which allows for reduction in cost and weight by not mounting a shield case on one end face of a connector housing but attaching a ferrule housing directly to the one end face, under an environment not requiring electromagnetic shield, thereby eliminating the shield case.SOLUTION: A connector housing 10 includes, in one end face 10a thereof, a ferrule insertion hole 11 into which a ferrule supported on the ferrule housing is inserted, and ferrule housing receiving parts 14a-14d provided to project to the positions on the front side in the fitting direction of the ferrule housing, for the insertion hole peripheral surface 12 that is a part of one end face 10a. In the peripheral surface shield B1 of a shield case 20 made of a metal plate for electromagnetically shielding the one end face 10a of the connector housing 10, notches 26a-26d for passing the ferrule housing receiving parts 14a-14d when superposing the peripheral surface shield B1 on the insertion hole peripheral surface 12 are provided. |
