PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag cover that is space saving, and can be manufactured at low costs as resource saving, and to provide its manufacturing method.SOLUTION: An air bag cover 20 has a door part 25 pushed open by an air bag 12 in an expanded state using a thin integral hinge part 24 as a center of rotation, and also includes a body part 21 having the integral hinge part 24 and a reinforcing part 31 disposed at the back side of the body part 21 for reinforcing the integral hinge part 24. The body part 21 comprises a hard material having a better shape retention property than that of the reinforcing part 31, and the reinforcing part 31 is formed of a soft material having a better elongation property than that of the body part 21. The reinforcing part 31 is formed of a resin material having compatibility with the body part 21 as a configuration of being disposed into a sheet shape partially at the back side of the body part 21, and also is adhered and disposed at the back side of the body part 21 by injection molding. |
