<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil composition enough high in HTHS viscosity at 150°C, enough low in kinetic viscosity at 40°C, kinetic viscosity at 100°C and HTHS viscosity at 100°C, and excellent in low temperature viscosity characteristic.SOLUTION: The lubricating oil composition contains a lubricant base oil having kinetic viscosity at 100°C of 1 to 20 mm/s, and a viscosity index improver which has a ratio M1/M2 of 10 or more of the total area M1 of a peak between 29 and 31 ppm of a chemical shift and the total area M2 of the peak between 64 and 69 ppm to the total area of the total peak in spectra obtained byC-NMR, and which has a weight average molecular weight of 200,000 or more.</p> |
