This automaton system designed for acting on a set of blocks (42, 43, 44) with a view to performing at least one task comprises: • - a central control facility (25) • - at least one common data line (50, 51), • - interface circuits (55, 56, 57) for connecting the blocks on the common line. According to a characteristic of the invention, the control facility is formed of a computer of PC type in which is inserted operating software for determining operating phases of the blocks.
