(Problem) The present invention addresses the problem of providing an ink, of which the writing has excellent properties including satisfactory water resistance, warm water resistance and scratch resistance even when the writing is made on the surface of a glass product or a pottery and the writing can still remain sufficiently on the surface of the glass product or the pottery even when the glass product or the pottery is washed repeatedly. (Solution) (1) A water-based ink composition for glass surface or pottery surface use, which comprises an acrylic silicone resin emulsion, a pigment, a dispersant and an aqueous solvent; and (2) the water-based ink composition for glass surface or pottery surface use described in item (1) above, which additionally comprises a thixotropic agent and/or resin beads. |
