The roller (1) has a grid structure including webs (5), and a laser engraving introduced as micro-profile in the webs. The grid structure comprises helical grooves (4). The micro-profile has recessed micro-profile elements with opening width that is less than 10 micrometer. Depth of the micro-profile is less than the depth of the groove. The absorbed micro-profiled elements are formed as v-grooves (6), X-grooves, diagonal grooves, transverse grooves or holes. The micro-profile is a regular profile.
