The method involves measuring an operation voltage of an electrical load between a coupling point (13) and a ground point (9) as a voltage measurement value by a voltage measuring unit (16). The load is connected between the coupling point and another ground point (15). A voltage resulting between the coupling point and the former ground point is measured as a voltage drop during a non-operational phase of the load and is utilized for correction of the value recorded during operation of the load, where the value indicates a load voltage at the load concerning the latter ground point.
