The device has a connection point (s) for surrounding hair strands. A connecting material is made of keratin or thermoplastic material. The heat is applied to the connection point. The connection point is arranged between pressing surfaces (6, 8). The pressing surfaces are heated, pressed to each other, made of resilient material e.g. rubber and silicone, and located relative to each other along parallel direction. A joint (4) is arranged at two ends of an arm (2) of a plier main portion. A slider (5) is connected with an operation knob (7) arranged on an outer side of the arm.
