PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser welding method in which a decrease in the light quantity of a laser beam, that is emitted to a welding-planned part parted comparatively from a laser emitting part, can be suppressed.SOLUTION: The laser welding method comprises the steps of: pressing an outer cover 20 and a lamp body 10 to each other by a tool 40 in such a state that the welding-planned part of the outer cover 20 and that of the lamp body 10 are opposed to each other; and making the laser beam incident on the inside of the tool 40. At the step of making the laser beam incident, the laser beam is made incident in such a state that the incident position and incident angle of the laser beam to be made incident on the tool 40 are determined so that the laser beam made incident on the inside of the tool 40 is reflected at least once in the tool 40 and the reflected laser beam is emitted to the welding-planned part of the lamp body 10.
