<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toggle hand press and a press-fit connector press-fitting method which facilitate adjustment of bottom dead point when the bottom dead point of a hand press is different from the point where a pressing force required for press-fitting a press-fit connector is applied, and allow for press-fitting work of good quality with no pin bend, when the pressing force of the hand press is not enough to the pressing force required for press-fitting a press-fit connector.SOLUTION: A press-fit connector press-fitting device includes a spacer height adjustment mechanism in which a head for pressing the press-fit connector upper part has a spacer putting in and out mechanism for changing the bottom dead point arbitrarily, and a floating mechanism provided with a bearing capable of releasing a force for press-fitting obliquely by an amount of deflection of a hand press being applied to the upper part of the press-fit connector during press operation.</p> |
