<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust detection device for a cleaner, capable of stably keeping dust detection sensitivity.SOLUTION: The dust detection device for a cleaner includes an impeller (not shown in Fig.) arranged inside a suction route (not shown in Fig.) and to be rotated by suction air; a power generator 45 for generating power by the rotation of the impeller; a light emitting element 48a for emitting light to the inside of the suction route with power to be generated by the power generator 45 as a power source; a light receiving element 48b for receiving the light of the light emitting element 48a and outputting a signal; dust detection means 48 for detecting sucked dust on the basis of an output signal of the light receiving element 48b; power generation amount detection means 81 for detecting a power generation amount or a power generation current from the power generator 45; and control means 82 for adjusting detection sensitivity of the dust detection means 48. An electric conduction amount to the light emitting element 48a is changed based on the output result of the power generation amount detection means 81, and also the control means 82 changes the detection sensitivity of the dust detection means 48. Dust detection sensitivity is stably kept without directly acquiring information of an operation state of a cleaner body (not shown in Fig.).</p> |
