PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and compact clamp with long stroke.SOLUTION: A clamp 1 includes a body 2 provided with two seats 21 and 22 for housing respective jaws G1 and G2. The jaws G1 and G2 are translatable in parallel in the respective seats 21, 22, between a retracted position and an extended position, with long-stroke. The clamp 1 further includes an electric motor M and an electric unit CPU for control, in the body 2. A transmission assembly is operatively interposed between the electric motor and the jaws, and includes each of two pushing screws V1 and V2 and movable assemblies GT1 and GT2. The rotation given by the electric motor M to the counter rotating pushing screws V1, V2 causes translation in opposite directions of the translation assemblies GT1, GT2, which trail the jaws G1, G2. |
