<p>Provided are an apparatus and methods for reinforcing various components of an aircraft using vertically directed circumferential string girdles. According to embodiments of the present specification, a barrel skin of an aircraft fuselage can be reinforced by the vertically directed circumferential string girdles. According to additional embodiments, wing string girdles of wings can be arranged along with the circumferential string girdles. According to other additional embodiments, the wings can also have one or more wing spars having oval openings. The shape of the oval can be modified for the attachment of the fuselage to arrange the outer surface of an opening close to the inner surface of the fuselage.</p> |
