The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for verifying component mounting information, capable of previously verifying component mounting errors before a component is mounted by comparing standard work data generated from PCB design data with mounting data generated from equipment data of a component mounting unit which mounts an actual component and improving productivity by correcting the component mounting errors. Also, the present invention improves the reliability of verification by quickly verifying all components, remarkably reduces verification time in comparison with the verification with the naked eye, and automates an error detection process.
