An image forming apparatus and a method thereof are provided to prevent blurring of ink by discharging ink on image domains separately although the image domains are condensed on image data. An image forming apparatus includes an input part(110), a head part(120), a memory(130), a transport part(140), and a controller(150). The input part receives image data to print. The head part includes nozzles. The nozzles discharge ink for forming an image. The memory memorizes a print mask consisting of patterns for designating each portion of whole area of the image data. The transport part moves a print sheet back and forth. The controller controls the head part for discharging the ink to each of the image domains designated by the pattern. |
