PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel technology for reducing power consumption required for lighting of a signal light device.SOLUTION: With a traffic signal control system 1, when a vehicle detector 40 does not detect a vehicle on a minor road for predetermined time at a crossing where a main road and the minor road intersect and where semi-sensing control (recall control) is carried out, a red light 12 of a signal light 10B of the minor road is dimmed. The dimming is canceled when the vehicle detector 40 senses a vehicle on the minor road. |
