<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a force which is applied to an intermediate shaft of a steering device in axial direction, thereby achieving smooth steering feeling.SOLUTION: A steering device is characterized in that a hollow cylindrical female spline, which is formed in an outer side extension shaft, and a solid male spline, which is formed in an inner side extension shaft, are fitted to each other so as to be slidable and capable of transmitting a rotational torque. The steering device is further characterized in that by reducing an outer diameter of the outer side extension shaft, a value of a slide resistance between the male spline and the female spline is adjusted.</p> |
