The purpose of the present invention is, with respect to an electric wire with a terminal having a waterproof resin section for covering the connection between an insulated electric wire and a metal terminal, to improve waterproofing at a part between an olefin-resin insulation coating and the waterproofing resin section without increasing the number of manufacturing steps and equipment. The electric wire with the terminal comprises an insulated electric wire having an insulation coating made of a polyolefin system resin, an adhesive layer that is formed on the surface of the insulation coating along the entire circumference, and a waterproofing resin section that is formed by means of insert molding. The waterproofing resin section covers an area that extends from the part where the adhesive layer is formed on the insulated electric wire to the connection between the core wire and the metal terminal. The adhesive layer is made of a blend of an ethylene-glycidylmethacrylate copolymer and a phenolic hardener. The waterproofing resin is made of polybutylene terephthalate.
