PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety lock device for a moving type cabinet, which can restrict movement of a movable cabinet simply and reliably at the time of working in a workspace and has no protrusion in the workspace, and by which lateral movement of the movable cabinet can be freely performed.SOLUTION: A safety lock device for a moving type cabinet comprises: an operation button 18 in an operation portion 14 mounted on an upper face of a front deck 3 corresponding to each workspace S; a lock portion 15 interposed between adjacent workspaces; and an interlocking portion 16 for interlocking the two side operation portions adjacent to the lock portion. A stopper member 17 belonging to the lock portion is brought into a locked state and an unlocked state by operating one of the operation buttons positioned on the two sides, and the stopper body of the lock portion interposed between a specific workspace and an adjacent workspace is brought into a locked state by operating the operation button in the specific workspace so that a proper portion of a base of a movable cabinet abuts against the stopper member and the movable cabinet is blocked to move to the specific workspace. |
