PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED chip suitable for use as a semiconductor-type light source of a vehicular lamp.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, an N electrode 37 and a transparent conductive layer 39 are connected via conductive connecting parts 32, 320. A current evenly flows through an N-type semiconductor layer 36 as a second semiconductor layer sandwiched between a light-emitting layer 35 and the transparent conductive layer 39 in a lamination direction. As a result thereof, it is possible in the present invention to avoid occurrence of an increase in crystal defects in a semiconductor caused by local heat generation due to current concentration, and a decrease in luminous efficiency (luminous flux) caused by a droop phenomenon or the like when the current is increased. Thus, it is possible to improve reliability, to make a large current flow, and to obtain a high luminous flux. |
