PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading light device capable of: controlling the state of a reading light during and after inversion of seats arranged in lateral direction so as to become a state of the reading light, fitting actual usage of the reading light; and saving energy.SOLUTION: A reading light device 1 comprises: an inversion detection part 62 for detecting inversion operation of seats 10; and a control part 61 for controlling a lighting state of a reading light 60 according to the inversion operation detected by the inversion detection part 62 and controlling lighting and extinction of the reading light 60 in response to operation of an operation part 18. The control part 61 changes lighting state of the reading light 60 during the inversion operation of the seats 10 from lighting state before the inversion operation, and performs extinction of the reading light 60 after the inversion operation of the seats 10 is finished. |
