PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid chromatograph apparatus including a simple and inexpensive flowmeter capable of measuring a low flow rate and a method for correcting the flow rate of an eluent introduced into an analytical column on the basis of a flow rate measured by the flowmeter in the liquid chromatograph apparatus.SOLUTION: The liquid chromatograph apparatus includes: liquid feeding means for feeding an eluent; sample introduction means; an analytical column; detection means; and a flowmeter that measures the flow rate of the eluent, and includes air introduction means capable of introducing a constant amount of air into a flow channel where the eluent flows on the downstream side of the detection means, first and second sensors capable of detecting passage of the air introduced by the air introduction means (the second sensor provided on the downstream side of the first sensor), and calculation means for calculating the flow rate of the eluent passing through the flow channel on the basis of air passage time on the basis of detection signals from the first and second sensors. There is also provided a method for correcting the flow rate of the eluent introduced into the analytical column on the basis of the flow rate measured by the apparatus. |
