PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dismantle a steam generator rationally.SOLUTION: A steam generator 1 includes: a barrel unit 2 having a conical barrel between an upper barrel 2b and a lower barrel 2a; a heat exchanger tube 5 supported inside the lower barrel 2a; a tube bundle external cylinder 3 surrounding the periphery of the heat exchanger tube 5; and a feed water pipe 11 surrounding the outer periphery of the tube bundle external cylinder 3. The dismantlement method of the steam generator 1 includes the steps of: sequentially separating and removing a part of the conical barrel from the upper barrel 2b and the lower barrel 2a; and, after the conical barrel is removed, vertically dividing the tube bundle external cylinder 3 at a position B that is inside the upper barrel 2b in an opening A, on the down side of the feed water pipe 11, and near the upper end of the heat exchanger tube 5. |
